Dorothy Sinclair Featured In Memphis Business Journal

Dorothy Sinclair serves as the cofounder, president and CEO of Brighter Days & Nites Inc.

She attended Northwest Mississippi Community College, where she earned a degree in Accounting and Business Communications, after which she obtained a BBA from Tennessee State University.

Brighter Days & Nites is a distributor of advanced lighting, electrical, structure signs and pipe supplies and has received numerous awards, including the MLGW Flame Award, the TDOT Bridge Award and the Robert R. Church Sr. Scalable MWBE Business of the Year Award.

Sinclair has been married to Alvin Sinclair for 42 years, and they have two daughters and two grandsons. Sinclair is a lifetime member of New Sardis Baptist Church and has served in various leadership roles, including as youth director, Christian education director, Sunday school teacher, trustee and church treasurer.

Sinclair truly loves life and lives each day under the mantra: “Blessed to be a blessing to somebody else!”
