Editor's note: MBJ's 2018 Pacesetters awards were held Sept. 11 at the Memphis Botanic Garden. The awards are broken into four categories — based on revenue size — with winners determined by the largest percentage growth over the past three years.
Below, the honorees in Tier 3, companies with annual revenue between $3 million and $9.9 million.

Top Local executive: Briggette Green, managing member
No. of employees: 25 full-time; 2 part-time
Products/services: General Contractor specializing in brick, block, rock, stone, precast and glass block for commercial and industrial projects
New products/services: Created a formal education-based learning system as well as an inclusive income component to the changing industry through the company’s recently approved apprenticeship program
Best business decision in past five years: Participating in the ASCEND Business Development Program through the Greater Memphis Chamber. The program provides opportunities for large majority firms and smaller minority firms to be paired together to help scale minority businesses.
Goal yet to achieve: Partnering with organizations that have a greater reach to the types of employees TopCat needs and increasing the opportunity to employ more individuals
Three-year revenue increase: 200%
Average growth for all nominees: 151.5%
