Women entrepreneurs are invited to join the National Association of Women Business Owners, Memphis Chapter at its August 13 Luncheon at Chickasaw Country Club.
This event will be led by Kim Heathcott, president of Clarion Security and NAWBO Memphis, and the newly installed NAWBO Memphis board. Heathcott has joined NAWBO members Natasha Donerson, CEO of Success Unlimited, and Maggie Strom, president of Tioga Environmental Consulting, in the second class of Memphis Business Journal’s Super Women in Business, sponsored by CBIZ MHM and PNC Bank. “I’m honored to have been named among the 25 most accomplished women in the Memphis business community,” Heathcott said. “Women face unique challenges in taking care of their families while also growing their businesses and serving their community, so it is rewarding to have our hard work publicly acknowledged. The mentoring, relationships and education that NAWBO provides have helped each of us take our businesses and community involvement to higher levels. I am inspired every time I am around this group of women business leaders. ”
Lunch is from 11:30am-12:00pm and the speed networking will be from 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Cost is $25 for NAWBO members, $30 for non-members and $35 for on-site registration.
Chickasaw Country Club is located at 3395 Galloway Ave
Participants will be inspired to pursue business, plus take away valuable contacts that can open doors to leadership and business opportunities in the community. NAWBO continues to be one of the most influential local and national organizations for women-owned businesses. One of 80 U.S. chapters, NAWBO Memphis is the only organization with the mission to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.
