Previously, Caitlin was a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, a top-tier venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. She advised the a16z portfolio on strategy & best practices for content, messaging & storytelling.

Prior to joining a16z, Caitlin was vice president of west coast sales at Skyword, managing strategic relationships with technology enterprises. Before that, she founded & sold Clear, a content marketing agency that worked with software enterprises like Marketo, Google for Work & LinkedIn. She also worked as executive director at the Let Them Hear Foundation, managing operations & strategy in 17 countries & 1,000 clinics/schools.

Caitin’s first book, 30 Ways to Happy: When trying to be perfect stops being fun, sold out on Amazon in one week. She’s thrilled to empower children through internships & literacy via the SPARK & LitLab Boards, respectively; and to celebrate femininity as Editor-in-Chief of Woman, a Medium publication.

Caitlin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English & Spanish from UCLA, summa cum laude, where her writing received a statewide award.
