nita-black--nawbo-memphisNita Black, Managing Partner, has thirty plus years experience in banking and business consulting.  Her expertise is applying traditional “large company” business concepts to small business.  Business experience includes global financial, business, and strategic reviews of small and medium size businesses.

Ms. Black owned/operated Memphis Originals, LLC (dba MO’s Coffeehouse).  Having made payroll for five years as an independent business owner, she understands the challenges of growing a small business. Since 2000, Ms. Black has owned and operated a business consulting firm.  The original company name, Financial Services Exchange, LLC, changed to Primacy Solutions, LLC now doing business as MAP Momentum.  The company has developed over 100 business plans with independent business owners.  Working with business owners in service, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, and internet, Ms. Black has a broad-based knowledge of key success drivers in each type of business.

Her large company experience includes working with companies of up to $50 million in annual revenues and with non-profit organizations of all sizes.  As a Vice President at a large regional bank, she managed a private client portfolio in excess of 200 clients with a large concentration in the health care industry.  During this time she held a Series 7 Investment Representative, Health and Life Insurance, and Annuity Licenses.  For several years, Ms. Black managed and grew a portfolio of middle market company clients for the bank with loan size of up to $25 million.  She has over ten years experience as Vice President responsible for commercial loan workouts.

 Ms. Black holds a BBA from the University of Memphis with a major in Accounting (August, 1987).  Currently Ms. Black serves as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Greater Memphis Chapter.  She is a member of the Germantown Chamber of Commerce and the One Memphis Alliance.  She is an Alumni of Leadership Bartlett.  Ms. Black has three daughters and eight grandchildren.
