The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Memphis Chapter, one of 80 chapters in the U.S. with the non-profit mission to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power, hosts “WomenMean Business in Family, Business, Volunteer, and Political Roles.” This is a networking luncheon workshop featuring attorneys, Kristen Wright and Kathryn Walker, both with Bass, Berry & Sims. Discussion topics include (1) Resolving Disputes, (2) Balancing Commitments, and (3) Building/Sustaining Professional Networks The public is invited. The community spotlight speaker is City of Memphis Mayor A.C. Wharton, Jr. discussing “State of the Loan Economy and How Women Can Participate.”
